The 2.5-Inch 4-Layer black aluminum voice coil is designed for sound and wiring flexibility, efficient thermal heat management, high-strength construction, and high-temperature. They are coated with black glue that handles extremely high temperatures which allows our woofer to handle even more power than they are rated.
The IMPP cone is super thick and strong. And the high density foam surround provides incredible sound quality with minimal distortion, black stitching reinforces the cone and ensures long life.
It features advanced and unique vertical and horizontal air flow cooling structural design for heat dissipation, which optimizes performance even further.

I have 2 of these dvc 4 ohm subs paired with a Recoil RED 1200.1 amp at 1 ohm. They’re going behind the seat in a prefab 1.9 cu ft per sub box in my single cab 79 f100. I’m restoring my old truck but I tried them in my 2020 f150 as I’m running 2 RW12D4’s on it in a downfiring box. Very pleased with both version of subs. Great price without sacrificing quality.
